Never started a build thread for this car, and this being a new forum so hey why not?

2008 n54 6MT 135i Sparkling Graphite Metallic/Black/Silver Trim - 1 Previous Owner/Enthusiast (still had the car sticker lol) CT-->VA
Maintenance
- Purchased at 81,xxxm for $15k March 2016 -Maintenance kept up with from previous owner
- Spark Plugs changed at 54,480m - HPFP recall done at 59,499m
- 4 Fuel Injectors replaced at 59,499m - Stock turbos replaced at 79,412m
- HDP replaced at 83,857m - LPFP Sensor replaced at 83,857m
- Redline 5w-30 at 85,xxxm - Redline 70w80 GL-4 MTL at 85,xxxm
- OEM BMW Brake Fluid at 85,xxxm - NGK Spark Plugs at 86,xxxm
- Delphi GN10571 Ignition Coils at 86,xxxm

just ordered ngk sparks, delphi coils, and 6 SMP index 12 injectors (im assuming it has the decouplers), and tools for $1,100!!! cheaper than just the 6 injectors themselves!

Nice Maintenance and Mod thread. Car looks great, love the color. What is your next performance modification? Looks like you have all the preventative maintenance covered.

once the coils/plugs/injectors go in, MHD OTS map/jb4, ride that out until i can get a protune. going to save up for ST so this thread might be sleeping for a while LOL, or until my tuning itch starts acting up....you know how that is :rolleyes:

Well you did it right and did all of the maintenance first and the suspension. Maybe LSD, inlets, and tuning until the stockers blow. Will be a fun car to drive.

Ahh how could I forget lsd, the VERY thing I wanted first on my car lol. mfactory lsd will be coming, just having fun getting used to the vlsd. and the stock turbos ain't dying any time soon. replaced 6k miles ago loool

Installed MHD couple hours ago. OTS map 1. even without down pipes, there's a significant increase in when boost comes in. about 400-500 rpm quicker, comes in around 2k instead of 2.4k. sitting on balding Pilot Super Sports, 3rd gear at 60 with a slow-moderate to wind up had my tires starting to lose traction at 3k rpm. rain started to come in so normal driving for the the most part

Got done installing 6 new NGK ILZKBR7B8DG spark plugs and 6 new Delphi GN10571 ignition coils. super easy, just my dumbass always seems to work on cars at night which makes it take x2 longer. old bosch plugs looked alright after 30,000+ miles, but some of the coils had lots of oil on them. specifically cylinder 3 and 2.

Also is it normal for oil/debris to build up in the coil cylinders? cylinders 1and 6 were clean, but the rest were dirty

When you do logs, you should turn logging to auto. So above a certain throttle threshold it begins loggin and stops when you let off. All the other stuff in between pulls just makes it hard to sort through. Also make sure you do a full pull all the way to redline.

Yeah been logging auto, just that first night I had it on manual. manual life bruh <3. I'll do a red line log after I get new tires
